Wit Lewandowski, BSc. Pharm. BCGP

PRESIDENT

Wit Lewandowski is a registered pharmacist who graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) from the University of Toronto, College of Pharmacy. He owned and operated Rideau Pharmacy in downtown Ottawa for over 25 years before selling it to focus on the retirement home sector.

In order to stay current with developments in the pharmaceutical field, particularly in the area of senior care, he continues to work as a pharmacist on a part- time basis.

Wit has successfully developed and operated numerous full-service retirement homes: Rideau Gardens, a 121-unit in Ottawa, Quinte Gardens, a 239-unit, in Belleville, Hazeldean Gardens, a 172-unit, in Stittsville and Lanark Lifestyles, a 217 unit aging in place retirement community in Perth.

Wit has always been passionate about senior care and is one of the few pharmacists in the country with the professional designation of Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist (BCGP). Wit continues to live in Rothwell Heights, just a few blocks away from Wateridge Village, where he has raised his family for over 35 years.

Allan Jackson, B.Comm.

Allan Jackson is President of Capital Commercial Investment, a commercial real estate brokerage firm he established. Mr. Jackson has 18 years of experience in commercial real estate and has specialized in seniors’ housing, acting on behalf of developers, buyers, and sellers.

In addition, he successfully acted as the operating partner in the design, construction, and nearly seven-year operation of Hazeldean Gardens Retirement Residence in Stittsville until the project was sold to Sienna Senior Living in June 2025.

Mr. Jackson was also a partner with Mr. Lewandowski in the Sandy Hill Apartments project, which involved re-purposing a former retirement residence (Sandy Hill Retirement Residence, owned by Revera), and converting it to 91 student housing units. As well as overseeing renovations to the building, Mr. Jackson served as Property Manager during the nearly 3 years of its operation as student housing. This project was successfully sold in early 2015.

Mr. Jackson received a B. Comm. from the University of Guelph, majoring in Real Estate & Housing Management and grew up in Rothwell Heights where he attended primary and high school.

Dr. Neel Chadha, MD, CCFP

Dr. Neel Chadha is a physician dedicated to advancing senior living in Canada. A proud Canadian, he has expanded his vision beyond clinical work, combining medical expertise with business and real estate to create thriving aging-in-place lifestyle communities. His work reflects a rare blend of medical insight and entrepreneurial drive, focused on meeting both the physical and social needs of Canadians.

Motivated by a passion for community building and innovation, Dr. Chadha continues to shape inclusive environments that foster dignity, connection, and well-being for all. With a unique skill set spanning medicine, business, and real estate, Dr. Chadha brings a competitive edge to seniors’ housing. He has a proven track record across all aspects of retirement residence development and operations, including project financing, management accounting, construction, marketing, service design and quality, and labour relations in a non-union environment. He successfully oversaw the development and stabilization of a 102-unit retirement residence and a 115-unit luxury apartment building in Perth, Ontario. Currently, he is actively developing new aging-in-place communities in Kemptville and Carleton Place, furthering his vision to expand access to high-quality senior living across Canada.

As an Ottawa local, Devon has over 15 years of experience bridging finance and construction. Devon brings a strategic, numbers-driven mindset to every project.

A Chartered Professional Accountant with a strong foundation in accounting and controllership, Devon has held key roles in cost consulting and project monitoring across a wide range of developments in the Ottawa area, with extensive work in the retirement residence sector including Hazeldean Gardens & Lanark Lifestyles among others.
